Rozen Maiden Inked Collection

These are the main dolls without Kirakishou/ Barasuishou. They are from the top: Sugintou and Kanaria, Suiseiseki and Souseiseki, Shinku and Hinaichigo. I will be completing the 7th doll sometime next week. This fanart series is a culmination of my studies in inking -- I believe that my style grew with each girl and hoping that I find my own inking style soon.

The dolls are all drawn traditionally with traditional drawing and inking materials. Some of them (Kanaria and Shinku) have been toned with copic markers, and Souseiseki as well as suiseiseki is an inkwash study. Sugintou and Hinaichigo are both studies in hatching and cross hatching. While Kanaria's sunflower has elements of pointillism.

I actually enjoyed working on each doll. I love the victorian style dresses so I hope to draw them again soon-- maybe in color this time? Was thinking watercolor or colored pencil.
